Wayne's Extremely TRIK GSX-R1100

Here are some updated pictures of Wayne's bike with the new yoke fitted, polished forks and the seat base covered in carbon look leather.

There were problems with fuel tank, because it had been standing dry for a while, so that rust was present in tank which blocked the inline filter. Wayne found some chemicals on the internet that are organic and non flammable, from a company called Frost. They do a kit for bike tanks that removes tarnish, removes loose rust, chemically reacts with rust that's left and puts a zinc coating over it that etches into the metal through any remaining rust. You then get a sealer, if needed, to put in the tank thats resistent to all fuels, cold and heat. It's primary use is for the Marine industry. There web site is www.frost.co.uk and it does work. Check the site for info and parts.
Wayne also found a turbo up for grabs on this very website and had a deal with the fellow who's selling it.
So that sounds kinda promising ;-)

It's just starting to look like something...

Damn sunshine... fucks up the picture ;-)
